STEPS OF SEEKERS
What concerns true seeker of God is what he can practically apply immediately on himself from the will of his Lord.
God tells seeker to leave liars and be with the honest ones. Also, to not say ‘ugh’ to the parents. Wives are told to obey their husbands, and not go out without wearing proper covering garments. Men are told not to lustfully look at other women; but rather lower their eyes. Speak truth, do justice and practice patience. God enjoins mercy and kindness, instead of anger and harshness. To love nearest relatives and look after neighbours. To give charity to the needy and support the poor. To speak for the oppressed and fight against evil and corruption. To love believers and uplift them with encouragement and good news and confidence.
These good moral actions God loves and on the seeker He bestows His grace and light.
